When hockey went on strike I never went back. The only things I’ll watch now are nba playoffs and nfl games.

no I can’t give up the nfl. Everything else sure.

I'm fed up, but still watch NFL games decided by penalties which have and had no impact on the play. Also on the subjectivity of the calls, given how many games are decided in the last minutes by a pass interference call when both the D & O are using their hands against each other.

The rules too are ludicrlous.

The ground can't cause a fumble, but a pass caught and the receiver gets two feet down and then after crossing the line his the ground and the play is waived off as a dropped pass.

Other calls, roughing the passer, holding and placement of the ball are too subjective.

But I am delighted to learn that some fans are now no longer supporting those ungrateful athletes.

They make millions, yet have the temerity to instill politics into sports.

How did "your team" know you sold your tickets?

I sold them on the team's website. But I didn't sell them in protest. I merely said for the next two games I won't be a part of this. So I got my money back from the NFL and went to the beach instead. Had a great time!

A lot of other fans just didn't show up or sold as well. The teams get concerned when season ticket holders like myself sell individual game seats or don't show up. It means there's a good chance they'll lose season ticket holders for the following season (tickets are paid for months in advance of the season).

The team ended up sending all season ticket holders a semi-apology message and did stuff to help bring the fans back. So, I was able to make a statement while not losing any money and laying on the beach at the same time.
