Sorry that would be 1,400 gals a day. Some years ago the pots used to cost $50 a piece, now probably far less especially if made and fired locally.
280 pots at 5 gals a day each...........

The design is simplicity, and three of the five part easily replaceable if broken, only the lid with solar absorbing glaze coating is of any real cost or technical design, a bit.
