Solar and storage to replace the last coal plants in New England

How many house cats do you know that can cut the wings off of Bald Eagles.
Human toxic waste and trash decimate more apex predator birds than renewables. They found that painting one of the blades black cuts down on the predation as well. Can't do that with poison. Suddenly all the Rabid Right are eco-whiners.

You may have a problem with human toxic waste in countries like India and Pakistan, but not in the US.

Most of the worst polluters have been excluded from any treaties and requirements. China is the worst polluter and they pretty much dump their toxic waste any way they want.

Nice try tho.

And when the power is most needed, neither solar nor wind can be asked to increase their output. It is all dependent on the wind and the sunshine. Duh!

Meanwhile, China, India, and Pakistan are building hundreds of coal-fired power plants.
Jessica is pitifully clueless. COAL is increasing at an unbelievable rate

THIS WAS ALL BIDEN> AS SOON AS CHINA FOUND OUT BIDEN WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR A CLIMATE ACCORD (WHICH HE CAN"T VERIFY ANYWAY) they went their own way and continued organ harvesting, rounding up Uyghurs, attacking Falun Gong, Christian persecution, etc.

So thanks to Biden we have more Coal going than if we never had any climate awareness. China can have it all, the leaders do whatever they want, then .....DIE

I never ever saw a house cat or heard of a house cat killing an eagle or owl or a bat.

You are lying.

Other sources of electricity are also more lethal for birds than wind energy. A 2012 study found that wind projects kill 0.269 birds per gigawatt-hour of electricity produced, compared to 5.18 birds killed per gigawatt-hour of electricity from fossil fuel projects.

Cats are not killing an endangered species. Wind Turbines are killing eagles, hawks, falcons, owls, bats, vultures.

Outdoor domestic cats are a recognized threat to global biodiversity. Cats have contributed to the extinction of 63 species of birds, mammals, and reptiles in the wild and continue to adversely impact a wide variety of other species, including those at risk of extinction, such as Piping Plover.

hahahahhahahha

The Piping Plover is threatened by the Army Corp of engineers destroying the habitat. The Piping Plover lives and nests in areas that are prone to flooding. Sure, some are killed by cats, most were destroyed by the Army Corp of Engineers.

Duly noted, if a cat kills a bird, then you will ignore the slaughter of the American Bald Eagle.

BYE BYE! One more step closer to ending coal for good! Poisonous shit!

It's gonna suck for them in the winter.

If only they could see that far ahead...oh, well.

lol

In New England, electric bills just rose 40%

BlindPoo, residents have what we here call an electric bill, we dont buy our electricity off the Futures Market. I will quote your link to show everyone BlindPoo's pathetic attempt to deflect the truth.

Yep, and that’s even more electricity we’ll need to buy from HydroQuebec; the main source of electricity in Central and Southern New England. This will lead to higher prices for customers, less resilience in the system, and more black/brown-outs. Yep, you read that right. Massachusetts utility companies are already hard at work trying to take over our thermostats, washing machines and other appliances as well as being able to remotely brown-out areas via computer systems.

I sense a Tin Foiled hat is strong in this one.
