Good question. They were literally BEGGING him to run for POTUS this time last year. BEGGING openly in public. Shamelessly throwing themselves as his feet. But oh......oh oh oh....yeah....Hurricane Sandy and that moment on the beach where Christie and Obama did the man-hug thing. That changed everything.

Well, I live right next door to Mercer County's worst disaster from that storm and my neighbor, who is a Republican who has lost her house, would probably have hugged Obama that day he visited, too.
