When I was a child, I was diagnosed with flat feet and wore corrective shoes. When I joined the military, the doctors asked if I ever had been told I had flat feet because I was borderline for being allowed to join. I told the truth and said that I had worn corrective shows for many years, but I had stopped and they never bothered me much. For the for over 15 years active duty and the past twenty years after leaving the military, I worked in a job where I was on my feet for 8 to 10 hours straight, with no problem.

The problem just went away, just like bone spurs.
