I've worked in production on assembly line details a few times. Once in a junk mail plant assembling crap to jam into people's mailboxes, another time assembling frozen dinners in a food factory.

I was young, and discovered I didn't like it, so I left in pretty quick order.

Why would people think that repetitive unskilled labor like Amazon would be any difference? I got paid 80% less during my own time on the assembly line.

If the employees at Amazon don't like it, they should go to school at night and learn a new trade like taxidermy or proctology, which are more lucrative and less tedious.

I work in a shitty warehouse for shitty wages. Why? Because I'm a high-school dropout who spent much of my teens and 20s smoking weed. I don't cry about my lot in life. I'm exactly where I belong.
