In almost all cases only the ballots were verified, not their origination and certainly none of them were matched to voters since it was impossible. The envelopes that contained the ballots were destroyed before the ballots were counted. Voters should have to show ID at the polls that matches their registrations and the few who can’t go to the polls should vote by certified mail with signature matching chain of custody at each change of custody. The mail carrier should sign with the voter, then the mail processor should sign for the ballot, and on and on until the absentee ballot gets to the counter who tabulates it, then the ballot, envelope and chain of custody card should be retained so the vote can be verified in the case of a recount.
As for the court challenges, the judges refused to entertain them.
