"You don't s'pose they're ashamed of the ***** Grabber In Chief? Naw. That, along with his boyfriend pooting and his threats against the constitution are why they voted for him."
I'm not sure where you're coming here, but I took your comment and signature as that of a raging Liberal.
Your boy Obama was the one that wanted to change the Constitution. For a Constitutional Attorney he sure didn't respect it. He thought it was written by a gang of moldy old white men and had outlived its purpose. Where actually it was penned by men that had foresight, courage, and were highly educated and intelligent. The Constitution is a timeless and one of the greatest documents ever written by men.
It has been the inspiration of constitutions/Decarations of Independence the world over. From 18th century France to the 1970's Communist Vietnam (Word of note: Ho Chi Minh was not a Communist, he was a Nationalist. He spent several years in the 20's working at a restaurant in NYC While here, he learned about America and loved our society and wanted an Indo-China that was free and open. Read Vietnam's Declaration of Independence). Where most differ (see France) is that our Declaration and Constitution sets the Rights of
Men (the individual) whereas the others set those rights as the Rights of
Man (the group). That is from where, in the U.S., our individual rights stem.
Codicil: While Ho Chi Minh was Nationalist, most of his lieutenants that were in control of the Viet-Minh (Later Viet Cong) were Communist. Vietnam's Declaration is written, almost verbatim, from a speech given by Ho Chi Minh on September 2, 1945 in Hanoi. He died Sept. 2, 1969.
