A) Wrong. Initially the North Koreans invaded South Korea. The North Koreans were initially aided by Russia. China invaded when it seemed that the US would take all of Korea and had no desire to have a US backed nation on their doorstep.

B) Wrong. North Vietnam tried to have popular elections. Eisenhower balked. The North Vietnamese began a guerrilla war against the South. Initially they were aided by Russia. After the the US pulled out..China invaded Vietnam. They were beaten back by the Vietnamese.

C) Kuwait was asking Iraq to repay various debts owed to them by the Hussien Regime. Saddam Hussien said the Kuwaitis were being unreasonable and asked April Glaspie how to resolve the situation. Glaspie replied that Arab on Arab problems were not the concern of the US. Hussien took that as a green light to invade. Partial Credit.

D) Hussien for the most part kept his end of the agreement. US planes began buzzing Iraqi gun sites to A) Draw fire, B) Gain intel on what sort of hardware they still possessed. No US plane was ever hit during these missions. Partial Credit.
