Their primes were before my time really but I suppose from your list I would go with Michael. John and Joel are piano forward and Collins was drum forward and both situations get old quick. Tom Petty's is not a particularly good vocalist IMO and Bob and the Silver Bullet Band were definitely way before my time as they were already on the oldies stations as long as I can recall, so by process of elimination, The Thriller. There are some old females that had stunning voices but they were not exactly mainstream headliners at any point while I have been alive that I know of, but my knowledge of their catalogs is limited---Judy Collins for instance.
