Except that DOGE is illegal, unconstitutional, and redundant, we have a few congressional committees, the IG system, and the GAO already covering these functions, on a non partisan basis. Musk is not to be trusted has he has fudged his numbers. As for DOGE, excuse me if I don’t trust or care to take the word of a billionaire (whose billions courtesy of the US Taxpayer) who is a partisan hack with extreme conflicts of interest, no training in auditing, no grasp of its science or protocols, and no regard for the constitutional role of the IG apparatus and GAO -- established by Congress to do precisely what he’s redundantly attempting. DOGE is illegal, unconstitutional, and driven by someone so arrogant and full of himself (given his wealth) he thinks he’s untouchable and above learning or accountability.
Closing the border is impossible, no president in history has done it, nor will they do it, as $3 billion worth of durable goods traverse the border every day, and the best that can be done is to put a dent in the problem. Dems & Repubs had a border bill to add agents, judges, detention facilities, etc., but Trump told Speaker Johnson to shelve it, so you guys do not have a leg to stand on on this border.
Trans females are not men by any reasonable standard, but if they are pre-op transexuals, I agree. Do biological male transfemales have a biological advantage? They probably do, even after hormonal treatment. I don't have the answer to this, and it is a problem, methinks they should be disallowed to participate in women's sports, especially if it is proven they were getting mediocre scores as a man, and superior scores as a woman.
There are two, but there is also intersex, a biological fact.
Raced based hiring is a myth. DEI is NOT race based hiring. Republicans are liars about DEI.
If the polls told the truth about it, they would support it, so I don't trust those polls, show me the question methodology. Would they support it if the question were framed this way: "Do you support freezing MEDICARE & MEDICAID, The Affordable Care Act, and Veteran's Benefits spending after congress approves the budget spending? I bet if that were the question, the vast majority wouldn't support it. So, your claim is disingenuous.
Trump isn't doing 'reciprocal tariffs', he's doing across the board tariffs, and that will destroy the economy. hell, the threat of it as already tanked the markets. The power of tariffs should be retuned to congress. ONe of the greatest congressional errors was to grant this authority to the president. Why? Because it's a de facto taxation without presentation, which is what the Boston Tea Party was all about.
I question the methodology, did it mention that Trump wants to end the war on Putin's terms? Was that in the question methodology? I doubt it.
So? Cutting spending approved by congress is illegal. Moreover,, if they mentioned what was being cut, would they, then, approve of it? I doubt it.
Not in the states where the coastlines are, 72% Californians do not support off shore drilling, I doubt the people in the other shoreline states support it, either.
