I've found jams, jellies and marmalades are pretty interchangeable, differences being sugar content, viscosity, and having fruit chunks or no fruit chunks.

I think it taste great with peanut butter. And can also be used on top of fried pork chops. It is just as important in a refrigerator as ketchup or mayonnaise.
