I would actually rather talk with a 'honest liberal' than a moderate or pc republican...both of which if they decide you are tooooo radical would stab you in the back.
All three are actually liberals. Don't talk to any of them is your best bet.
I would not dispute that and there are very few honest liberals. The Old School liberals were not so bad, but there are few of them left.
Contratst this:
Milton Friedman: Old School Liberalism with what the miliennia liberals of today believe? They cry out for government help. The previous generation may have depended on their parents, but the milennials cry out for government help, free tuition, free any and everything, even some are demanding a free salary.
Your comment kinda reminds me of a discussion I had with my employer a few months ago. He was talking about a magazine he's subscribed to (I forget the name of it now). Anyway, one columnist wrote an article on how to deal with millennial employees.
They were talking about how employers should sit down with them and have heart to heart talks about how their life is at home, if there is anything the company can do for them, if they feel they are treated fairly, and if not, what actions the company should take to correct their misdeeds. If an employee is having trouble at home, the employer should offer the employee time off of work; as much as they need, of course with pay........
He said "WTF do they think I'm running here, a social club? I don't pay people to come in so I can solve their personal problems, I pay people to get the work done that we have every single day over here!!!"

Because of this generation, we have the most adults living with their parents than any other time in America. Not only the most adults, but older adults in their 30's as well. I have read that those who finally do move out don't buy homes. Not only do they rent apartments, but they rent all their furniture, appliances, lease their cars, they don't want any inconvenience or responsibilities in life.
I guess that's great for me, I'm a landlord.
