Where's the manufacturing job growth

First they came for the blue color, I said nothing, then they came for the medical profession, I said nothing ,by the time they came for me there was no one left to stop it.

Wasn't that the end goal for Trump's tariffs? Domestic manufacturing would make a comeback with more new jobs create here? But so far, it ain't happening. Promises in more investing here have been made, so maybe the numbers will improve. But - when you hit imported steel and aluminum with higher tariffs, the businesses that use steel and aluminum to make washing machines and bicycles and other like products will have to raise prices and the result is lower demand. Hence, a loss of jobs.

This isn't a TDS screed, although it sounds like it. The truth is that I hate tariffs and I think they are political rather than fostering economic growth. I opposed tariffs when the democrats did it too. Over the long run, tariffs have been a bad idea that promises much but delivers little.
Fake news. I just saw Trump’s staff release these great numbers. The best anyone has seen.

Won't happen overnight, but if the various investment commitments are genuine manufacturing here will increase eventually.

The increases in employment in education and healthcare is an indictment of both. The education system should teach people how to be healthy.
Economists predict, that over several years, manufacturing jobs will come back to the USA. Not as many as Trump is saying. Automation will be taking away current manufacturing jobs and will eliminate the number jobs in the new manufacturing plants.

At the same time prices will rise.

Trump is heading us toward new manufacturing jobs that will help some and higher prices that will effect everyone.

We will also need those immigrants to fill the service jobs that will result from an expanding economy.

Not sure where the MFG Jobs are? But leading indicator (markets) suggest things are not as bad as Stain say they are? Overall inflation 2.7%? ~3% excluding food and energy. At least its' not 9% like under the Corpse $2T New Green Steal.

Young graduates now have the highest unemployment rate. This is proof of recession.

Who will Trump try to blame & fire next for bad jobs numbers?
