Where They Really Need a Fence

It isn’t topped with razor wire or defended by thousands of soldiers like the fence around Fort Pelosi (a.k.a. the Capitol), but it is far more necessary. They tried removing the fencing around the Mark O. Hatfield federal courthouse in Portland, but Antifa terrorists kept attacking. Another wave of mostly peaceful riots crashed against it last weekend.

Police said … they recognized the fence had become a “symbol of divide” between the department and the community, and that they would remove the fence to show “our willingness to have dialog and peaceful communication toward starting to heal our community.”

They backed up this duckspeak by removing the fence. Then came the dialog and peaceful communication by which Antifa heals the community. Back up went the fence.

[J]ust one day after the fencing was removed, rioters marched down the streets of Portland, setting fires and smashing windows.

Characteristic of Antifa sociopaths, they tried to set fire to the courthouse with people inside.

Officers discovered numerous items left behind by people inside the perimeter, including a crowbar, hammers, bear spray, slugging weapon with rocks, high impact slingshot, and knives. …

Thirteen people are facing charges from the protest, including disorderly conduct, unlawful possession of a firearm, resisting arrest and interfering with police, among other offenses.

Imagine what the ongoing military occupation of the District of Corruption would look like if the Capitol rioters had been as violent. As it is, the worst they have to worry about is that Buffalo Guy will break out of prison and try to sit at Nancy Pelosi’s desk.

Meanwhile, the mainstream media continues to regurgitate the lie told by Joe Biden and fellow powerful Democrat Jerrold Nadler that the Antifa thugs who have been terrorizing the country for the past year do not exist:

Joy Behar, co-host of ABC’s “The View,” claimed during Monday’s show that Antifa — a recognized violent left-wing organization responsible for much of the rioting damage to American cities over the last year — is “fictitious” and “doesn’t even exist.” …
In attempting prove her point, Behar repeated the erroneous reporting that fallen Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick was bludgeoned to death.

The chasm between the liberal establishment media and objective reality is untraversable.
That even the Department of Homeland Security acknowledges the need for a fence to defend the federal courthouse in Portland is encouraging, but don’t expect the crisis at the border to inspire Biden’s handlers to stop blocking completion of a wall to defend the country from foreign invasion.
