Take for examples the bribes Clarence Thomas takes from billionaires like Harlan Crow. Harlan wants the government to be the coach for his team. Or he wants the court to be a referee who is rigging the game.

I want the government to be a fair referee. And I don't think it's right that billionaires can bribe our referees and get away with it.

Did you hear what the Supreme's said? It's okay to take a bribe from a billionaire as long as you take it after the ruling. After the ruling it's not a bribe it's just a thank you.

Asked why Trump has gotten four medical checkups in the last year, Dr. Mehmet Oz repeatedly and unconvincingly asserted Trump is in perfect health and probably just likes seeing reports affirming that’s the case.

“I have talked to the president about what he’s sent to all of you and I think it’s just a routine, regular exam,” Oz told a reporter at the top of the briefing who’d asked why Trump has had four times the number of “regular” checkups in the last year than is considered normal.

Oz then said Trump appeared on his television show ten years ago and shared “spectacular” health records at the time, implying that they must still be great. (Trump refused to release detailed medical records during the 2024 presidential campaign.)

A second reporter followed up after Oz’s dodge: “If the president’s in such perfect health, why does he keep going back in for checkups?”

“I think he likes the results,” Oz claimed. “He does really well, uh — he aces the test every single day. And I do actually believe that he’s curious to make sure everything is going in the right direction.”
