This does not last forever. Decline occurs as a nation atrophies. We exist off of more and more foreign made products. No form of employment makes a nation richer than manufacturing also with the side employment created. There are different levels with industrial, manufacturing, service, government, etc. Government employment is the worst as it takes taxpayers money with the creation of the employment. So, the footprint of creating many other jobs around it is far less.
