WHERE ARE THE ******* JOBS BONER???

President Barack Obama on Friday made his promised hard pivot to jobs, following up the morning’s news about a 10 percent unemployment rate by announcing $2.3 billion in tax credits for clean-energy jobs.

“We have to continue to work every single day to get our economy moving again. For most Americans, for me, that means jobs,” Obama said.

“The job losses for the last quarter of 2009 were one-tenth of what we were experiencing the first quarter,” the president said. “The Recovery Act has been a major force in breaking the trajectory of this recession.”

The White House said that 183 projects in 43 states will create “tens of thousands of high quality clean energy jobs.” And the administration promised that the result of the new money would be domestic manufacturing of advanced clean energy technologies including solar, wind and efficiency and energy management technologies.

There are no jobs, and there will be no jobs. Where have you been for 30 years.

Corporations asked Reagan for cheaper operating conditions (i.e., cheaper resources and cheaper labor). Therefore Reagan (and his Leftwing trojan horse: Clinton) helped corporations move jobs to cheaper places. If any jobs came back to the USA, they have to compete with 3rd World Labor markets -- which means they won't pay sufficient wages to enable consumption.

The point of globalization was/is to free-up our transnationals to roam the globe for cheap resources and labor. The Pentagon isn't used for national defense so much as a tool to stabilize regions which contain cheap labor and resources, i.e., South America, Africa, and the Middle East.

This is the point of the Cold War and War on Terrorism: to use an admittedly real national threat to justify intervention in regions that contain things we need -- like cheap oil.

Go into any Walmart and read the label on the products. Take notice of where things are made: unstable regions. This is why Reagan had to build up the Pentagon. To give capital access to cheaper resources. And since the Pentagon is part of Government, he passed the cost to the taxpayer (socialize cost, privatize profit).

Why do you think the middle class required credit cards to drive consumption after Reagan? Because their wages/benefits/programs were squashed in order to increase the profit margin of corporate America. The transition to debt-fueled consumption happened under Reagan -- and it eventually destroyed both the middle class and the economy.

(That's what happens when you get rid of jobs but continue to promise rising living standards -- you use gimmicks like credit cards to cover up the fact that the money isn't trickling down)

After 20 years of Reaganomics, the middle class -- having lost solid jobs and wages -- was so broke that they needed to use their homes as ATMs. That was the last thing they had left of any value. Couple this with an absence of easy credit, and there is nothing left to drive consumption.

Washington exported jobs in order to make their paymasters richer. Washington crushed wages and benefits in order to give tax breaks to their paymasters.

Now the middle class has no money.

This means there is absolutely no demand.

Why on earth would anyone add any jobs here?

A. One bill that would have redefined rape was taken off the floor.

B. At least three bill that would make drastic cuts to Abortion Rights have been put forward..

C. A Vote to Repeal Health Care passed in the House, and then died in the Senate.
