When Will The Left Finally Shut Up?

The Earth doesn't give a damn about per capita. China pollutes more than 10 times what the US does and India is even much higher than that. Are you worried about green house gases or not?

The reality is the amount of CO2 humans produce per capita is important. You can't have the US telling countries like China and India to cut back their CO2 emissions when the US won't, even though it has higher CO2 emissions per capita.

China and India are 4 times bigger than the US in terms of population. If the US is producing nearly as much as China and MORE than India, then the US is a big problem.

If the US isn't going to do anything, it doesn't matter whether anyone cares or not, nothing will change.

No. That is not the question. China pollutes ten times what the US pollutes. Get back to us when China breaks even with us.
No China does not emit 10 times what we do, they emit roughly double of ours. And India emits about half of what we emit. You seem to glory in flap yap based on nothing at all.

Read another article today about how we are all doomed. Climate change has become close to irreversible. We have hurricanes every year. We have earthquakes every year. We have record high temps every year. We have record low temps every year. We have flooding every year. We have record snowfalls every year. We have forest fires every year.

Anyway, it got me wondering, the left have been saying we are doomed time and time and time again for years and I wondered at what point they would just shut up. I mean, if scientists conclude that Climate Change is irreversible and that we are past the point of no return, will they finally just shut up and let us live our lives until we all burn to death or freeze to death or drown in flooding? Or, even after the point of no return, will they still be trying to get us to get rid of planes, trains, and automobiles, wear animal skin clothes, get rid of air conditioning and heat, eliminate farting cows, and spend trillions and trillions of dollars fighting a war that they have already declared is over?
Thanks for identifying yourself as one of the ignoramuses responsible for the death of most life on this planet.

Here's an idea: learn some SCIENCE! instead of repeating low-IQ corporate-shill anti-environmental lies.

Well, it would seem that in the 100,000 year cycle, there's a huge spike in temperatures that lasts anywhere from 20,000 years to 70,000 years. In the past 400,000 years this spike has got HIGHER than it currently is.

Floods, fires, these are things that have always happened. People will be like "owww, worst flood since 1948" or something, suggesting that these happened in the recent past too.
Temperature is rising faster now than by any natural causes in the past. Its rise perfectly correlates with the output of greenhouse gases.

I'm old enough to remember snow drifts over the rooftops in parts of WV and PA. That is not happening now.s

Are you aware of what will occur if the Gulf Stream and N. Atlantic Current shut down? Warming due to greenhouse gases plus the fresh water from the Greenland glaciers could cause this. Google: Younger Dryas event. It was about 11.9 kya. Disastrous for humans.

Is it? Can you prove temperatures didn't rise this quickly in the past?

Really, accurate temperature readings we've only had for the past maybe 50 decades.

In the 100,00 year cycle temperatures rose massively.

345,000 years ago temperatures were at -4 degrees anomaly, and then by about 325,000 years ago they'd risen to +2 degrees anomaly. CO2 also rose pretty much the same.

Right now we've gone from -4 degrees anomaly to maybe about 1 degree anomaly in 25,000 years, which is slower than 325,000 years ago, and it's a LOWER temperature. Also, CO2 started rising about 25,000 to 20,000 years ago. And while CO2 levels have gone through the roof, global temperatures haven't.

Why?

If CO2 makes temperature rise, then surely we should be at like +3 degrees anomaly at least by now, ie, freaking hot. But we're not.
