And some people make up ludicrous stories to push a sociopolitical narrative that is intended to dishonestly distort the truth of the situation that actually existed as well as tear down America and the values and principles that made it a great nation.Black People were brought here to be laborers, nothing more. They were forced to worked in the fields for long hours. They didn't like it and I don't blame them. They also didn't like the people making them do it a whole lot. Understandable.
So whatever the people forcing them do hard field work.... Whatever those people (The Plantatation owners) liked, Black People didn't. Makes sense to me.
As an example, the Romans were big on bathing and Baths. They ruled over Britain for many centuries and when the Brits finally ran them off, they haven't take a bath since.
The black people working that cotton field were not 'brought in' by anybody nor were they forced to do anything. They lived in or near our small town and asked for the work just as the 'Anglos' and 'Hispanics' and I did.
