I'm not doing that today because I am not and have never been a farmer. Those of my friends and family who ARE farmers are farming now as they did those many years ago and all are 'rural people.'. (P.S. Not that it matters or is relevant in any way, but all of our friends and family who are farmers and ranchers do happen to be white. One of those families does qualify as Hispanic. A couple of them are share croppers but earn a good living and love their lives. We have a couple of good friends who have been ranch hands all their lives though they're now pretty far up in years and their Christian employers don't require any more from them than doing a few light chores in return for room and board and a modest salary.

The problem was that we had a pretty good balance. The Mexicans would come up during harvest season, make some money, and go back to Mexico, living pretty well for the rest of the year.

NAFTA was actually a disaster for the Mexican Farm economy, when cheap, genetically engineered, government-subsidized American Yellow corn displaced traditional Mexican White Corn in the Mexican market.



Which means thousands of Mexican agricultural workers were displaced, and gosh, darn, we have all these open jobs here in the US because White people couldn't get off the farm and move to the city fast enough.

I remember when I was at UIC and they wanted us to pick a name for our basketball team that no one wanted to watch.

The Adminstration wanted the name, "The Clout" from the Chicago Machine, but the students thought that was too racist.

Probably half the undocumented would be granted residency based on our asylum laws, but we have a seven year backlog in the asylum courts.

The problem Cheeto Hitler has is that these countries don't really want these folks back. he might get Uganda to take a handful of criminals, but the vast majority are being kept in his concentration camps, because they have nowhere to go, and at some point, most of them will probably be released.

As for asylum seekers I was a little shocked to learn that approval rates overall are about 45%

That tells me trump needs to appoint stricter judges in the future
