Dont talk to them they will never leave and keep coming. Its looney tune religion

Mormons have come in our house as well

They never bother us. The only people that come to our door is annoying sales people trying to sell home services or a new roof.
Usually the German Shepherd freaks them out and cuts that sales pitch real short as they watch me hold the dog back with all my strength.

when Jehova's witnesses come to your door, what do you do?​

I know what I did do. They came - a man and a woman - weaponed with a brochure. I did send them away because as a Catholic I do not need the help they liked to offer me. I told this my wife (a Lutheran) when she was asking who was ringing. Lost in thought, she said "Sometimes the people who offer help need help on their own." Immediatelly I turned around and called them back.

Then we had an interesting talk about religion in which I tried to give them more possibilities how we are able to think with examples from Shamaism, Buddhism and the Christian religion. By the way: "Religion" is not only the reconnection of all humankind and individual humans with God - it is also the care and conscientiousness towards the sacred in general. Every human being is created, owns dignity, is sacred. After about 1-2 hours they gave up. For every of their 'arguments' I found a better one.

I hope the two of them gained something from this very long conversation. But I wan something else - my wife's admiration. "They will never come back, you are more worse than any witness of Jehova." my wife said. And so it was. They never came back. Nevertheless I hope I was able to help them.
