Zone1 When Did you enter a Forum for the First time?

what is a MUD.?
A text based multi-player game that you could play at institutions before the common spread public adoption of world wide web protocols.

Kids played them in the computing labs of universities, corporations, military bases, etc.

did you see a UFO?
Several friends and hundreds of other people including police officers did. I saw and noticed other related phenomena. In addition to many things which I don't have time to explain at the moment, I once walked out on my back porch on Easter and saw that line 75% entire sky was lit up a crimson red, from horizon to horizon. It was around 9pm and I was watching The Ten Commandments starring Charleton Heston. Considering what day it was and what movie I was watching, it was quite amazing! 😳

Anyway, many years later I was researching the phenomena that happened in my hometown online, and I found out that indeed, on Easter of that same year, a couple who lived 5 miles away from me at the time reported seeing a column of light decens.from the sky into their front yard. I began to rotate and I side they saw what they said looked like "windows". This is only one of hundreds of crazy things people have seen around there over many years.

Personally I don't believe ET is behind it. I think our government was experimenting with stuff, but was using talk of aliens as a smokescreen and deflection.

I Did in Summer 2002

Mid 1980s. Club 2000. It was a paid subscription forum. It was mailed out by the forum's leader by snail mail and printed on his dot matrix printer. We would snail mail him posts. He would compile and edit and redistribute every couple of weeks. I had a Pineapple computer. It was a knockoff of the Apple II computer. In the 1990's it was with BBS and Listserv for forums. I sold the Pineapple computer late 80's and moved on to a Radio Shack Tandy 1000 computer.

I'm not sure what qualifies as a forum (assuming we are talking about an online community of some sort). I started with dial up BBS's in the mid-80's (mostly single user, but one multi-user system)

And who Else?
2004 Randi Rhodes and Ed Schultz

Hannity had a board back then that he participated in

I was banned because I asked him “got link”? 😂

True story

Right around 1990 give or take a year or two.

It was a gardening forum.

I can remember when they were called a BBS.

Women's lounge. Webtv. Mentioned it above. Just now remembered the name of the forum. Older I get, the more I remember of back then. Yesterday? Today? Brain is pretty much blank. COmes with age I guess.

Couple or few years ago. I might be an anomaly because I visit many forums. One is for firearms. Another is about liberty. I even visit this weed forum called 420. It's sort of funny because it's the most polite forum I ever saw. I don't even smoke weed, but these burn outs are quite behaved.

15th post
Around 1995 or 96 I was already finding Forums while Researching Kennewick Man ( 9+ Thousand year old Human Remains found on the Bank of the Columbia River by a Guy sneaking into a Hydroplane Boat Racing event )

that is early!
I’m not sure there were real Forums in 1990 ( there were chat features between High end Travel Agents and Airlines in the 80s ( but those were not in what we call the true World Wide Web but an early pretender system …
