Now Lumpy, your blinders are showing. Where in my post did I give any indication of partisanship? I despise both major parties and the games they both play. The fact that I lean left doesn't make me blind to the Democrats' shortcomings. Now the ten dollar question is, can you say the same about the Republicans?
Well played sweet darlin.. as you indicate with your response (Democrats' shortcomings) the acceptance of the quintessential Democrat cards played as enumerated it would be ungentlemanly not to acknowledge the possible existence, of the yet unlisted and therefore elusive Republican shortcomings.....
Why thank you, Lumpster.
I would say both parties (and a fair portion of their partisans) operate primarily by creating and playing on divisions and fear, fear, fear. It's easier to convince people they are part of a defined herd and need to follow that herd to fit in than it is to convince them individually. And fear seems to sell even better than sex. That's what happens when you have the country being run by a couple of private clubs that exist only to further their own agenda, wealth and power and don't give a shit about the people or actual governance.
I simply choose not to allow either of them to define me. But if you get me on my soapbox about the two party system and their tactics I might stay on it all day.
