We will be living in the Bush era for years to come. If only the effect of his presidency ended when he left. In many instances we are still living in the Lincoln era, the Washington era, the FDR era. Some Presidents leave little, some much, some good, some bad. For almost four years we have been trying to get rid of the Bush bad but with a Republican House of Reps chanting no, no, no it is difficult. The
Republican no, no's is the Republican strategy to return and finish the Bush job.

You don't know how government works I'd bet or you'd realize Bush raised spending by a little bit compared to Obama tripling it and losing 35% of our worth since Obama took office. And Obama has tripled spending has no economic policy no foreign policy, and blaming Bush well you should blame Pelosi and Reid for two years bout that's nothing compared to what's going DOWN now

Simply not true that Obama has tripled President bush's yearly spending.

As you can see from the chart, President bush's last fiscal budget, the spending was $3.517 trillion, the following year's fiscal budget, for 2010, which was Obama's first fiscal budget, he spent $3.456, in 2011, outlays were $3.603, in 2012 outlays were $3.795 and outlay estimates for 2013 are $3.8.....

so in 4 years of Obama, he has raised spending by $300 billion...that a little over $70 billion a year.....

by comparison, let's review spending under president bush....

Clinton's last year of fiscal outlays/spending was $1.863 trillion, Bush's first fiscal year's budget, 2002 outlays were $2.109, 2003 outlays $2.160, 2004 outlays $2.293, 2005 outlays $2,472 trillion, 2006 outlays were $2.655, 2007 outlays were $2.729, 2008 outlays were $2.983, fiscal 2009 outlays were $3.518....

so under the fiscal 8 years of president bush, spending went from $1.863 trillion to $3.518 yearly spending.

and under Obama's 4 fiscal years the spending has gone from $3.518 to $3.803.....

When every US soldier that died is alive again, every maimed service member is whole again, every Iraqi civilian killed alive again, and every penny spent is repaid, THEN WE CAN FORGIVE HIM!

WHY CANNOT THE CONs accept Bush sent our troops to die based on LIES he knew were lies, and LAUGHED about afterwords. Had he been a Democrat, he'd have been impeached and HUNG. And he & Cheney should have been.

I don`t suppose you would consider blaming Democrats for getting the United States into a war with Viet Nam, where 58,000 died, all of them who DRAFTED, rather than less than one tenth of that, in Bush`s wars, all volunteers.

I don`t suppose you would be willing to give credit to Nixon for ending that war, as you are glorifying Obama for ending involvement in Iraq.

If Bush had done after September 11th, 2001, what Franklin Delano Roosevelt did after Pearl Harbor, i.e. rounding up and interning any and all of those who bear any resemblence to the attackers, the war in Iraq and Afganistan would not have been necessary, and the country would be cleaner, and more peaceful. The world would have shown the respect it did to FDR.

But of course, FDR`s action was NOT racist, was not despicable, was not motivated by hate but by patriotism, at least that is what liberal bleeding hearts say.

If Bush had done what FDR did, he would have been impeached and HUNG, as FDR should have been.

Kids who have been in trouble as teens, kids who failed their grades, kids who could not afford to go to college, etc.

During my lifetime the American culture has evolved from a feeling of everyone doing their part to one where the "uppercrust" have become the entitled...snobs who look down on anyone who doesn't make $100K and drive a $75,000 car. I'm ashamed of this nation where over 500 companies make profilts from the ill and infirm while we still rate 37th in general health and longevity, where the rich are the only ones with enough connection and funding to run our government, where the rich and powerful attack sovereign nations half way around the world knowing full well that they will not have to be concerned about their own ever having to fight and die in the subsequent war.
