I suspect that we've sadly crossed a Rubicon here, and I don't think we'll be able to put the toothpaste back in the tube (I do love mixing metaphors).

When you see a large portion of a "constitutional" country support a rich con man as he gathers his oligarchs and picks all the winners and losers, something has broken. Completely. Fractured. There is no one to repair that fracture.

We're a full-on predator nation now, a massive Mafia family, overnight, and the world knows it. But those of us who aren't thrilled by that need to understand that this has a lot of support. Or indifference.

Ten years ago every republican was scared to death of Hillary Clinton and it was certain that the democrap party would never lose another election. Except for one man who had the courage to stand up to her and show the country just how corrupt she was, and how corrupt the democrap party had become. Trump is not a great politician, but he has a natural talent for forcing the democraps and the entire federal government to reveal just how corrupt they really are and how badly things need to change. He got the ball rolling and is now paving the way for the next generation of republican leaders to fearlessly stand up to the democraps and fight back. Trump's efforts are probably the most significant contributions to America in the last century. Let's hope Vance stands his grounds and fights for America's best interests, not the democrap party's.

This explains why the establishment and its media are so freaked out about Trump: he isn't afraid of them. He is showing the entire country that there is an enormous amount of power in the wrong hands and they have to be exposed and driven out. He is the only person in the country with the balls to do that. I think America will be in a much better and stronger position in 2028 thanks to Trump. Hopefully a new generation of politicians will follow his lead and not be afraid to keep the progress coming.
