Maybe no one would admitt to it but not everyone agrees actually. Not everyone is for love or peace or tolerance. Nobody would perhaps admit it but some are actually for war, for example Friedrich Merz.

Don't forget offence spending and incarcerations. The US is number 1 there, too. The mark of a successful government.

Well, two things:

First, I spent my first few years on this board squabbling with lefties over the weaponization of PC & Identity Politics. It was my #1 issue, and for it, of course, they called me every name in the book. But I kept telling them that pushback was coming. I sure as hell didn't see the size or intensity that was coming, but I knew that a massive resentment was building. And I was right.

Then, sure as shit, it exploded in the form of Trumpism. Woke was/is the rallying cry. Now it's even GLOBAL. And because it's so ******* unhinged and dangerous and manipulated, led by this awful, ignorant, juvenile con man, it's now my #1 issue. And for it, of course, the RIGHT now calls me every name in the book. Go figure!

Equivalence? No. This move towards neo-fascism is clearly worse than what the Left was doing. But what the Left did played a pretty big role in us getting to this point. IMHO. So my disdain for both parties has never been stronger.

I wont pretend like the US is perfect. I just know the US government isnt incompetent and screwing up everything like the poster alluded to. Most of the issue are the political issues, not bureaucratic.
