In a mandatory course on "structural racism" for first-year medical students at the University of California Los Angeles, a guest speaker who has praised Hamas’s Oct. 7 attack on Israel led students in chants of "Free, Free Palestine" and demanded that they bow down to "mama earth," according to students in the class and audio obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

Lisa "Tiny" Gray-Garcia, who has referred to the Oct. 7 terrorist attacks as "justice," began the March 27 class by leading students in what she described as a "non-secular prayer" to "the ancestors," instructing everyone to get on their knees and touch the floor—"mama earth," as she described it—with their fists.

Universities are supposed to be places of learning, of questioning, of understanding. Once upon a time, Universities made it a goal to prepare you to become a productive adult citizen.

Instead, we find them now to be little more than Leftist factories of indoctrination; places where wonderful students walk in and activists bent upon the destruction of America walk out.

Discrimination or monoculturalism, not "university".
You are "at it" again , De Crepit US .
Getting it wrong as usual while sticking your chin out .,

Discrimination is not the opposite of , Diversity .
It can be a consequence of " Non Diversity " ( unchanging ) but it is not a necessary one , and nor is it the one and only possible effect.

Actually that is what discrimination has been.

As the term, "diversity" is currently used, its opposite is "merit."

When hiring, selection, promotions, and other goodies are selected on the basis of whether they promote diversity, then making those choices on merit must be at least partly abandoned.

Exhibit A: When holding auditions for exclusive orchestras, it has been the tradition to have the candidate perform behind a curtain, so that the evaluators will make their selection purely on the basis of artistic merit. They always reach a consensus.

In the age of DEI, the curtain is removed, so that diversity objectives can be furthered.

The quality of the orchestra cannot help but be diminished when moving from pure merit to diversity.
