What I miss is newspapers which are rapidly becoming the dinosaurs of today's media. Years ago, my uncle worked on the local newspaper, and I threw papers for three years and ran copy and delivered mail in my senior year in high school. The newspapers were so different than those today. Opinions were on editorial page. Reporters that slanted news were likely to be looking for a job. Our editor made it clear to staff. You write the new and just the news and I will write the editorials. Occasionally, there would be a very slanted piece on the front page and would have the words, EDITORAL at the top.
