Seems like this is the argument:
People like our own American Indians had no deed to the land, and just inhabiting the land for hundreds of years does not give people a right to the land. Now we know that land ownership is decided by deeds or guns. The Palestinians had no deed and no guns therefore England had the right to give the land to who ever they deemed in need of a country.
No that is not the argument.
Territories are fought over and who ever wins that war takes control of that territory. Territory is not a State or a Country.
The people of Palestine had plenty of opportunity to get legal deeds and registered ownership of the land.
The Effendi who were and still are land owners, are the same ones living in Israel today and have just won a larger voice of representation in this last election.
The Fellahin who claimed the land as a collective tribe, who were nomads and tribal farmers, refused to get legal deeds and refused to register ownership of the land, are the ones living in Gaza who elected a Terrorist group Hamas as their leaders and continually break any peace deals
