I just painted my porch this weekend. Now I have paint on my hands, and I don't think I can go to work this week.

What's the safest and most effective way to clean paint off skin?

Wear latex gloves for openers.
There are commercial paint removers available, probably at home depot.

You're not going to work due to paint on your hands?

I work in a Clean-No-Contact environment.

My understanding is that commercial paint removers are not good for skin.

Been trying. It's coming off too slowly.
Scrub brush, veggie oil, to get under the edge of the paint, wash repeat.

I use latex gloves a lot, helps big time.

There also are barrier creams for water based and/or solvent based fluids.

Yet you couldn't manage to keep your hands clean painting a porch? Didn't think that one through did you? Latex is WATER-based so use hot water and soap. It wipes right off if you hadn't let it dry, so use a stiff brush and scrub like hell.

Geeese---- I had better common sense when I was 12 years old.

Use a wire brush to break it up. Just lightly, unless you are into the whole BDSM scene in which case, have at it!:death:
