Gee, no wonder Jesus said few find the narrow way...

People these days are too busy hating one another to do what is said in Mt 25:31-46

The Sheep and the Goats

31And when the Son of man shall come in his majesty, and all the angels with him, then shall he sit upon the seat of his majesty. 32And all nations shall be gathered together before him, and he shall separate them one from another, as the shepherd separateth the sheep from the goats: 33And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on his left.

34Then shall the king say to them that shall be on his right hand: Come, ye blessed of my Father, possess you the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35For I was hungry, and you gave me to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me to drink; I was a stranger, and you took me in: 36Naked, and you covered me: sick, and you visited me: I was in prison, and you came to me. 37Then shall the just answer him, saying: Lord, when did we see thee hungry, and fed thee; thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38And when did we see thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and covered thee? 39Or when did we see thee sick or in prison, and came to thee? 40And the king answering, shall say to them: Amen I say to you, as long as you did it to one of these my least brethren, you did it to me.

41Then he shall say to them also that shall be on his left hand: Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels. 42For I was hungry, and you gave me not to eat: I was thirsty, and you gave me not to drink. 43I was a stranger, and you took me not in: naked, and you covered me not: sick and in prison, and you did not visit me. 44Then they also shall answer him, saying: Lord, when did we see thee hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister to thee? 45Then he shall answer them, saying: Amen I say to you, as long as you did it not to one of these least, neither did you do it to me. 46And these shall go into everlasting punishment: but the just, into life everlasting.

Matthew 25:31-46 (Douay Rheims)

Then he shall say to them also that shall be on his left hand: Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels.

Me:

I posted that pic of Trump to show what the leftists were doing to him w/ their lawfare. I consider him the least of Christ's brethren or better than the least. He helped get Roe overturned. And he helps feed all of America with his excellent policies that help businesses thrive... But the left hate him because... they just hate anything that is good for America.

Also: We know that the JWs are a false religion because they do not believe in "everlasting punishment" aka Hell, as this verse in Matthew clearly indicates, along with plenty of others on the topic of Hell. Maybe they never claimed to go by the Bible alone (sola scriptura)? I don't know... But many "churches" have members who do claim such, yet are being less than honest.

Also: The JWs have a totally different Bible than most Catholics or Protestants use. They had the audacity to change God's Word... Hell became "the common grave of mankind," where there is no punishment, just death.

No wonder no one trusts the Bible... People think all Bibles have been changed, which is NOT true.

46And these shall go into everlasting punishment: but the just, into life everlasting.

That's a mistranslation of the original scripture. Here is the correct translation:

Matthew 25:46
Young's Literal Translation
46 And these shall go away to punishment age-during, but the righteous to life age-during.'

Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels.

Another mistranslation. Here is the correct translation:

Matthew 25:41
Young's Literal Translation
41 Then shall he say also to those on the left hand, Go ye from me, the cursed, to the fire, the age-during, that hath been prepared for the Devil and his messengers;

I never really understood that Christ's admonition was about helping fellow Christians who were hungry, thirsty, sick or in prison. He never expected grifters, unrepentant thieves or liars to be helped. Good to know.

no idea what you're talking about. Who is a grifter? Who said anything supporting liars... etc??

The discourse strongly suggests that the righteous were led by the Holy Spirit inwardly and were unwittingly living righteously as a matter of habit. This is as it should be.
