Whatever happens next year, we're guaranteed to have an idiot in the White House for 4 more years.

Democrats have been talking a lot about how Donald has set the example that's allowed racist shitbags to feel welcome in coming out of the woodwork and back into the public light of day. But the same thing seems to be true of Democrats. They've used Donald as an excuse to show their asses day in and day out. They are now the party of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Beto O'Rourke. Every last one of their 5 million Presidential candidates is a complete idiot. But none of them are Donald Trump, so everyone gets a pass.

In a capitalist free market, competition is expected to yield the best results for the consumer. Competing businesses seek to offer the best version of a type of product, because if the other guy is better, people will go to him instead of buying from you. But in American 21st century politics an absence of any real competition allows both parties to persistently tank. As long as the Republicans and Democrats share a collaborative monopoly, we're going to be stuck with morons in the White House and on Capital Hill for a very long time.

Congratulations: You're reached the last stage of the five states of grief: Acceptance.

Welcome back to the human race.

Of course we are but there's nothing new or even recent, about that.

I'm hard pressed to think of a POTUS election in my lifetime that wasn't a "choice" between "Bad" and "Worse". This century has been no different. As long as the Duopoly successfully perpetuates itself it never will be, because there's no incentive to run "Good" when you already know the other side of your coin won't do it either.
