To expand on my comment....

The characters in Fury were two-dimensional, the plot was thin and predictable, and the climax scene was hokey and preposterously unlikely as fuck.

IMO, SPR is the most grossly overrated flick of all time....After the first invasion scene, the whole thing just plain sucked....Hated Hanks' character, hated the alleged "technical direction", hated the tremendously unlikely climactic battle scene....Hint: No P-51s were ever outfitted as tank busters.

My own pick for most overrated is Moonstruck. Cher SHOULD have received an Oscar for her work in Mask, so this was a make-up call, and the whole movie was just a series of improbable speeches instead of real dialogue.
