We need to evolve beyond this, and it starts with simple values within each of us,and acceptance of personal responsibility.
Ok, pretend you wake up and all of the sudden you live in Afganistan. As a proud Afgan with values who accepts personal responsibility, what are you going to do about a job?
I know America isn't as bad as Afganistan, but still people can't find jobs, wages are lower than ever, and the gap between the rich and the poor has become too wide.
So you can be as responsible and hard working and as proud as you want. If there are no good paying jobs available, then you're kind of stuck with what you have, no?
Its ok though because people are waking up. All around the world we see the masses waking up and saying enough with the corruption. From Greece, France, Egypt, Syria, Wisconsin and Wallstreet. The rich have gone too far. The system is rigged. And don't be surprised when you awaken the masses and they revolt.
So while I will take care of myself, I need affordable gas, healthcare and electricity and food. And available jobs that pay well. Yes it is the governments job to regulate inudustry to make sure the economy is moving in the right direction.
Not to work for the 1% and not the rest of us.
And I don't need a party like the GOP sending 7 million jobs overseas so they could break unions and lower wages. I'll take personal responsibility for myself, but I think one thing I also need to do is campaign as hard as I can to throw out the anti middle class GOP party this come November.
