As the russians are now in retreat and a conquest of Ukraine seems to be fanciful, what will post war Ukraine look like ?
I suspect that they will hang onto the bits they held before and that would be it.
That still leaves Russia in a hole. Economy in ruins and customers moving over to renewables rather than reliant on fascist oil and gas.
History shows us that we should over punish a defeated nation so how will civilisation deal with the junta ?
The russian people should not be punished. But Ukraine needs to be rebuilt so I suggest that all the confiscated russian oligarch assets should be used for this purpose..
Restrictions need to be placed on russia until it coughs up its war criminals,putin,lavrov and the rest. That would provide a route back into the world for Russia.
Any further aid for Russia would be linked to demilitarising the country and a comitment to free and fair elections.
