I don't want to give a specific outcome as I don't know the region and issues of such an agreement well enough and the Ukrainians are still fighting bravely for their country as I type this.

In a broad sense, Russia keeps some of their gains since the start of the war. A pact is signed which basically allows former Ukrainians to leave those areas back to Mother Ukraine if they choose. An East/West uncrossable line is placed on the border where plenty of spy activity will occur similar to East/West Germany.

They are not defending Ukraine because that old Ukraine has not existed since the coup in 2014 that kicked off a civil war, now i don't know what Putin will demand i know what i would demand and that is what's left of Ukraine is never in NATO and it has a neutral State, that's it and i believe that is a red line for Russia, i think before long Ukraine will capitulate then will have to accept what they are given, they only have themselves to blame for all the suffering because they thought they could have it all , now they could end up with nothing.
