that is what i read to the kidlet....as a child i remember my father reading stories to me...hansel and grethal....i loved that story....

How young are you talking?

I was big into Robert Heinlein. Just about anything he wrote starting at around age 8.

Then Asimov and then just about anyone who wrote about other worlds or space ships....

Farmer in the Sky was My first though.
