What we have learned from Trumps temper tantrum

If you read the OP, you would have your answer
Read it, obviously, and didn't see any answer. Pretty low hanging fruit, bashing Republicans, imo :sigh2: Doesn't this endless hollering back and forth and circling of the wagons ever get tiring? How about every goddamned election still just being a choice between evils in this supposed Democracy experiment? Self-examination from a hard core Democratic Party supporter though? Now that could be refreshing.. Admit the whole Russia Gat.e business was really stupid? At least there's something of potential interest there..
How does one do anything else but bash Republicans?

Their behavior is reprehensible and their willingness to attack our Democratic system for partisan gain is indefensible.

They will answer to History
If you're a right winger, Bertrand Russell was a Christian. Go crawl back into your Marxist hole. Fake cybername.

My name is Rightwinger

I was named after my maternal Grandfather Rightwinger McGee. He was a left handed Pitcher for the Chicago White Sox in the late 20s

Not necessarily
There will be a price to pay for Republicans as they alienate a generation of future voters.

How long can rank and file Republicans hold their noses as their party embarrasses them?

Except for certain Republican election officials, Pubs in Congress have shown themselves to be absolutely spineless and craven in face of Trump’s assault on our democracy.

Sad to see what has become of the Republican Party. They have sold out their values and are willing to sacrifice America’s commitment to Democracy as long as it means they win.

Their pandering to the wild rants of an unstable leader have stained their credibility.
Pub leaders are absolutely craven. And look who they sold their souls to? An incessant liar who has a history of fraud who is now being sued for defamation regarding a rape. Wow..they sold their souls to beelzebub.

The sad part is that their loyalty to Trump is not reciprocated. As long as they heap praise on Trump and repeat whatever lies he comes up with, they are OK

Any attempt at standing by your values or insisting on honesty is dealt with harshly.
Should judges demonstrate loyalty to Biden instead? Perhaps rule that Medicare be placed permanently on the table? Nothing would likely tickle Biden more. Maybe signaling having no issues with endless foreign war adventures bereft of congressional interference? Values to stand on.

Let me summarize that. It's always about "Loyalty" isn't it. As if a judicial decision can't be based on law and not the judge's loyalty to a political candidate. Because if that's what you think, then you are definitely part of the problem.

Thing is though, it's not just the Republicans:
As a consequence, the judges form liberal and conservative factions, which often lead to very clear ideological divides on these courts.

Admittedly, this phenomenon is also evident to some degree in states with nonpartisan elections. Wisconsin’s judicial races are nonpartisan, but as special interest money has flooded these elections, the Wisconsin Supreme Court has been beset by what Justice Ann Walsh Bradley termed “hyperpartisanship.” When campaign costs rise, all judges feel the pressure to please interest groups that spend big on judicial races.

1. While the courts may lean left or right, they remain nonpartisan and are not beholden to Parties that nominated them.

2. Local and state election officials remain basically beholden to the Constitution and sanctity of the elections. In spite of political pressure, they recognize the importance of our voting process.

3. The Republican Party has sold out. All that matters is winning no matter what political norms you demolish. They are firmly a minority party and the will of the people is irrelevant.
Please do not talk about the Constitution. You have no interest in at at all. A living and breathing document that is becoming more and more the old Soviet Union model. They didn't even pay attention to it either.
