What Voter Democraphic or Donor Base do Democrats (and "not Democrats") Appeal to When they Deny High Crime Rates?

At 2:40, Chuck Schumer explains that Washington DC is safe because he is able to take walks at sunrise among the monumenets:

At 4:40, some Democrat (or "not Democrat") media figures ask why Democrats would do this, when the average voter is not going to be fooled.

Keep in mind the purpose of denying high crime rates is to make Trump's actions to fight crime into a negative. Who do they appeal to by saying that Trump has no need to fight crime, not even in the nation's capitol?

It has to be donors, right? It cannot be voters, and certainly not urban voters who know how crime-ridden their neighborhoods are.

But what donors? What donors gain by ridiculing efforts to slow down violent crime in inner cities in hopes that those efforts will fail?

I believe I may know the answer, but I'd like to hear ideas from others.

Let's ask Schumers security detail how they feel about taking walks at sunrise.

When Democrats organize an invasion of 15 million unvetted ILLEGALS who RAPE and MURDER countless Americans. Hoards that kill 40,000 Americans a year with illegal drug trafficking. That tells you all you need to know about those evil Dem bastards.

Yanno..........all the stats say that crime has been going down in DC. Yes, they went up a bit in 2023, but they have been dropping, and are currently at a 30 year low. And that was before Trump started his bullshit about patrols with the military and FBI.

So, how safe is DC now that "all the stats" say that crime has been going down?

Are residents simply ignorant about stats to fear crime in their neighborhoods?

BTW, down from what, to what? The murder rate in DC, for example?

Compare violent crime in DC to it's spike in 2023, and by the numbers, it has gone down.

Is that really what Dems are hanging their hats one, in order to argue that Trump should not try to reduce it even more?

This is our nation's capitol, which should be a showplace, not a kill zone.

So you believe that we should just keep things the way they are? We are going to just throw in the towel and make no attempt to fix rampant black crime? A few less people get murdered last year and you think thats a satisfactory situation? Everything is good now? You dont even know if your supposed "reduced crime" stats are real.

This is precisely why democrat controlled areas are criminal hell holes. You guys dont do shit to fix crime.

The real question is, what crimes are being swept under the rug by militarizing the police on the pretense of an uptick in crime? Where are the Epstein files?

This is what they have created. age 13-65 roaming about in packs for crime. Many on ankle monitor already. how to solve this? Big Blue forever Chocolate cities of political corruption and street felonious behaviors. Business leave, revenue goes down.

Rampant Crime Is a Distraction from Those Who Want to Rip Us Off

Gated communities benefit from financing soft-on-crime legislation.
