How exactly are other countries supposed to stop people from entering the USA? When I go to the border, I go to the crossing INTO the USA. I have no contact with any Canadian officials at all.

YOU are responsible for people entering the USA. It is beyond ridiculous for Trump and MAGA to make the false claim that Canada and Mexico have to stop illegal migration into the USA. Unlilke the USA, Canada isn't a police state and we don't stop people on the street and demand to know if they're planning on sneaking into the USA.

Your example is going through a controlled border crossing where you deal with USA Customs and Border Patrol coming into here, and your own Canadian version going back. Not going through a border checkpoint is what can get you into trouble, makes you an illegal entrant.

Considering Canada's restrictions on firearms ownership, employment requirements, and a few other factors, would seem Canada qualifies more as a "police state".

Most of those crossing our Southern border illegally are not Mexican citizens. They entered Mexico from other nations so the question is how come they can enter Mexico and travel through that country and not be violating Mexican laws, etc. ????

It is so much more than peons wanting to come here and work, and we are a big part of the problem, because money and power is irresistible no matter which side of the border you happen to live. Whose police officers refuse to identify themselves properly or where search and arrest is followed by being moved around with no notice to lawyers or family.
