We can't live with them and we can't live without them, they have infected our way of life good and bad. It is so much more than peons wanting to come here and work, and we are a big part of the problem, because money and power is irresistible no matter which side of the border you happen to live. It should be a canary in the coal mine to us what can happen with unchecked corruption. The narco economy is built into Mexico's system the same way that war is built into ours, and is having terrible consequences for everyone. There is no easy answer, especially when money is so easy for politicians. ,

Mexico President says she will take back Trump administration Deportees in stunning new development

This illustrates the limitations of this boards emoji~"thanks" replies.
Part of the OP is true, and part is highly inaccurate.
Hence could receive a thumbs up with a thumbs down, or a 'fact' along with a 'fake news'.

One of many "disagrees" I'd have is that blanket commie-leftist claim we've heard for decades to point of nausea that "USA economy is built upon war". Past century plus of other nations wars that the USA got dragged into underscored the difference between Military Budget for Defense versus for expansionist war.

Better yet would be to stop letting illegal aliens from other nations use Mexico as their pathway into our nation.
Mexico refusal and/or inability to prevent people crossing into our nation from it is the major problem factor here.

Do you really believe that the CIA -- the planet's number one drugs distributor-- is not embedded with the Cartels ?

That one simple fact wrecks your thesis .

Will the US Military side with the Cartels or the incoming Trump Administration ?

Did I infer that? Of course they're a big player here, how ever did you come to that conclusion? I did try to say that it's very complicated, there's no easy fix.

Maybe if we kicked Mexico's ass for once they'd stop letting people travel thru their country into the US.

If we had forged a strong alliance with both CANADA & MEXICO
we would be so strong a continent No one could ever mess with us.(smile)

An individualistic country is not good, and a members club like the EU is not good. It's striking a balance. Mexico and down bank, kinda shitty countries tbh.

We need to annex a square mile of Mexico for every person that crosses the border.

Illegal immigration would stop

There is no answer. We are screwed. :(

Problem is, people have to pay the cartels to cross the US border. These people have to pay the Cartels back once in the USA else, the cartels will kill their families.

When facing this dilemma, the illegals have no other choice but to commit crimes to pay the cartels.

Great, job Democrats.
