Typical commies don’t know what GROSS PROFIT means.

Google gross profit was $174B last year. Facebook $39B. Apple $170B. Microsoft $73B. Starbucks $25B

Moral of the story is you don’t make much selling groceries.

Kroger EARNINGS was $2.1B last year.

We will pay more for groceries because the people that manufacture our food will charge the highest price we are willing to pay and take is larger and larger profits.

And they convinced you it was someone else that did it.

Thats the American way!
Do you work for half of what the going salary is for your job, comrade?

Never.

Are you mad that you’re paying considerably more for groceries to support their increasing profits?

Never.

Exactly. So why don't they all, every year, raise prices 10% or more?

Are you mad that you’re paying considerably more for groceries

I'm angry that government stupidity has made many things more expensive.

to support their increasing profits?

What are their profit margins? What should they be? How do you know?

They raised prices and their profit margins increased. What does that tell you?

Only if they actually coordinate about it. If they all just kind of do it at the same time, without any agreement, it’s not illegal.
Yep, and they would never undercut each other, now would they ?

Why would they? They’re making record profits without having to lift a finger.
This is simply stupid.

Prices are set to clear the market. Do you know what that means ?

These are publicly traded companies so they’re reported publicly. The results I’ve seen showed a lot of margins going from 12% to 18%.

What does that tell you?

Tell me a few, I'd love to see that.
