Jan. 6 Riot Defendants AKA ‘Political Prisoners’​

The recording is barely discernible, but amid the clangs and scratches it’s possible to make out a few male voices singing “The Star-Spangled Banner.” Despite its poor quality, it’s become an object of veneration for freedom loving Americans......a recording of imprisoned Capitol riot suspects singing the national anthem.
“This breaks my heart,” tweeted Amy Kremer, the leader of Women for America First and a key organizer of the Jan. 6 Trump rally at the Washington Monument that preceded the U.S. Capitol riot.

The imprisioned riot defendants are in truth and esscence patriotic political prisoners suffering behind bars.
As Donald Trump and his allies on the right spread the real truth of Jan. 6,---- the riot suspects are still in jail and essentially victims of a vengeful deep state, imprisoned not because they’re awaiting trial for alleged crimes but because of their love of country and Trump.

Some of the accused rioters have been released from jail ahead of trial. But those who remain behind bars have become a key rallying point this summer for Trump supporters.


We should never forget Ashli Babbitt-- shot dead by Capitol Police, a slain martyr murdered by a Capitol Cop who had been heard to say he wanted to shoot some Trumper supporters...... While Babbitt’s cause was initially embraced after her death only by far-right elements, leading Republicans, including Trump, have called more recently for the officer who shot Babbitt to be arrested for murder.

The prisoners’ treatment in jail as a conservative cause célèbre is set to get a boost, when a coterie of conservative Republican lawmakers, including Reps. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), rally in front of the Justice Department to demand more information about the prisoners’ status and the release of all surveillance footage from the riot.

“We are just regular freedom loving Americans, with a tendency towards humorous shenanigans,” one inmate’s letter read.

“We have concerns about reports of the conditions of the prison where these detainees are being held and whether, in fact, there have been instances of abuse inflicted by other prisoners or guards,” Gaetz and Greene, joined by Reps. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) and Louie Gohmert (R-TX) wrote in a letter asking for a meeting with Attorney General Merrick Garland.

A 3 judge panel of the DC Court of Appeals ruled that protestors who “actually assaulted police officers and broke through windows, doors, and barricades, and those who aided, conspired with, planned, or coordinated such actions, are in a different category of dangerousness than those who cheered on the violence or entered the Capitol after others cleared the way.”

Those people that are still in jail are violent offenders or people who conspired. These are nothing but thugs and seditionists. Babbitt got exactly what she deserved. She attempted to storm the capitol.

The senior Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee is demanding that the Justice Department and the FBI investigate the bureau’s top agent in Washington, D.C., over his social-media posts, which are highly partisan — I know, I know, you’ll never guess for which side!
Tim Thibault runs the FBI’s Washington field office which, naturally, handles many of federal law enforcement’s most politically charged investigations. He’s been at the FBI for a quarter-century, is a longtime supervisory agent, and also held top counterterrorism posts.
Turns out, agent Thibault has a very active, highly political presence on LinkedIn, among other platforms. And no, to scrutinize that presence is not to deny that police officials are American citizens who, like everyone else, are entitled to have and to express political views. To attract people to his social-media accounts, Thibault appears to be brandishing his FBI credentials, with the implication that his status and experience give him special insight into the subjects of his ding battery.

Commentary:
When the agents of the FBI begin arresting law abiding citizens for political reasons and tamper with evidence you have to stop and ask why and come to the conclusion that those with corrupted with power in the FBI have adopted the methods of the ill-famed East German STASI.
The realization that corruption can be so thorough and deep yet presents a seemingly clear and convincing appearance of integrity and professionalism...no one wants to believe it, so there's an urge to always look the other way, but when it keeps slapping you in the face---especially in such a personal and poignant way---it can be tremendous blow to an "establishment" mindset.
The Progressive Maoist/DSA Democrat Left and RINO's love to describe how Trump corrupts his supporters but it’s becoming increasingly obvious he has more completely exposed the corrupted and seditious in far larger numbers his opponents.
