What temperature do you set at home

When I lived in CA during the 70s we had a Swamp Cooler on the roof

That's living high on the hog.
Only cooling we had was a ceiling fan and a screen door.

my guess is you don't have carpet.....because carpet in humid climates starts smelling like feet.

Most of the house is in fact ceramic tile tho the living room has a rug and the kitchen/baths have non-skid floor mats.

I set mine at 77....mainly because it's so humid here.
I'd set it a bit higher...but then the AC wouldn't come on during the day and get rid of the moisture in the house.

6am to 7pm - 77
7pm - 6am - 80.
We use a small window A/C in our bedroom that keeps the bedroom about 72.
Way more efficient and cheaper than keeping the whole house at 72 for sleeping.

Course this morning when we got up it was only 64 and clear weather.... windows open...fans blowing in!
Got it down to 73 in here.
It is now 72 outside. Windows open only on the shaded with one window open on sunny side blowing out
