My main beef is tariffs, I believe they are a terrible idea and should not be employed unless and until all other options have been exhausted. IMHO, any gain from tariffs is offset by the losses incurred when the affected foreign companies and countries reciprocate with their own tariffs and other protectionist policies against us.

The RNC was very supportive of SCOTUS reversing Roe v Wade and sending the abortion issue back to the states where it has always belonged. That and other such issues is what I mean by loosely supporting. They don't specifically include the 10th amendment in the platform but neither do any of their proposed policies violate it.

The Founding Fathers intended for the Federal Government to remain small and restrained. The Founding Fathers were almost all Christian and held to Christian values. The Government should be responsible with funds gained from American taxpayers. Borders exist for a reason, and nobody should cross the borders unless and until they meet certain and specific criteria.

I’m in favor of banning ALL immigrants, legal or otherwise until we have a 100% certifiable handle on who is in this country. Everyone. Then we’d deport all non-citizens, install hardcore rules on who can enter the country and enforce them at the muzzle of a gun via the YS Military.

I’m also against the Government requiring, helping or even suggesting anything to individuals or businesses related to climate change.

But there are some things that the federal government can do for all states that the individual states do not have the capability to do or each state shouldn't have to reinvent the wheel on its own:

--Regulating interstate commerce so that all 50 states know the rules as they trade between one another.

--Regulating what substances are fit for human consumption and what substances should not be in our food/medicine under any circumstances and/or alerting the public to potential dangers.

--Regulating national advertising to prevent dangerous harmful information. For instance you can say your product is best when it isn't--that presents insignificant danger or harmful information--but you can't say it cures cancer when it doesn't.

--Regulating and enforcing immigration and border policies that not only affect one or a few states but all states.

--Regulating international trade and the content and safety of imports coming from other nations.

Etc.
