What movie have you watched the most number of times? About how many ?

I have a spin off question. I may not have watched it the most, but what movie have you already seen that you would watch tonight? There aren't a lot of movies I can say I would watch again right now. Without fast forwarding. But here's one movie I occasionally see on tv and I don't change the channel. Has anyone said Tombstone yet?

And I have seen it many times. Maybe not the most but pretty close.

Has anyone said Austin Powers? When I see those on I tend to stay tuned in. At least till a commercial interrupts.
Any of the John Wick movies or the TV series 1883.

I have watched The Wizard of Oz once a year since I was about 5. I am now 68.

Godfather 1 and 2 are great

Goodfellas is so damn good. The time of the movie I don't like is when it's the 70's and they're doing drugs. It was very nostalgic and a great mafia movie in the 60's. But then their lifestyle wasn't so good in the 70's or I think 80's. They go to prison. People get wacked. Drugs ruined the era. A must watch.

We walked out on Christmas Story when we were in High School. But today I love it. As kids we just wanted to walk around the mall looking for chicks.

I suspect it has to be Yankee Doodle Dandy, or It's A Wonderful Life as I've watched them both every year for as long as I can remember.
A close second would be between The Thing ('82) and Them.

I have to admit I've never watched Its a Wonderful Life, but back in the 80s, I bet I must have watched The Thing with Kurt Russel at least 10-15 times. One of the best horror movies of all time.

A few other movies I've probably watched too often?
  • Bladerunner
  • The Blues Brothers
  • A Christmas Story
  • Dune
  • Forbidden Planet
  • Frankenstein
  • The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
  • Home Alone
  • Its a Mad Mad Mad Mad World
  • Goldfinger
  • The Road Warrior
  • Midnight Run
  • Open Range
  • Point Break
  • The Rocky Horror Picture Show
  • Terminator 2
  • Tremors
  • True Grit (1969) and
  • The Wizard of Oz

Caddy Shack.

Nips.

There are some good ones in there. If they were on tv, I'd watch them.

Remember Big Trouble In Little China?

What is Road Warrior? Like Mad Max?

Open Range. Good one.

True Grit

Some good ones. Some stinkers. LOL.
How about Blazing Saddles or Young Frankenstein?

I like Cast Away up until he gets rescued. I like the time on the Island.
I thought Joe vs The Volcano was horrible the first few times I saw it (at the time it was on AMC incessantly). But at some point I realized it was pure genius.

I'll watch it again.

I think Cable Guy was not well received the first time everyone watched it but after watching it again people realize Jim's brilliance or insanity.

I think Little Nicky is another one. So stupid. So the first time you watch it you say it sucked. But then you watch it again years later and laugh.

Yep. Another that was mis-billed. It was much darker than a typical "comedy".

Road Warrior is way better than Mad Max, which was very good. In order of best to least best:

Road Warrior
Mad Max Beyong Thunderdome
Mad Max

Whatever the CGI horseshit they are selling as part of the "Mad Max" series these days.

/——/ Ten times is about my limit.
Goldfinger, Wonderful Life, Godfather 1&2, Dirty Harry, The Amazing Life of Kamala Harris…. Just kidding about the last one.
