I just came across an article titled "10 characteristics of conspiracy theorists" 1. Arrogance 2. Relentlessness 3. Inability to answer questions 4. Fondness for certain stock phrases 5. Inability to employ or understand Occam's Razor. 6. Inability to tell good evidence from bad 7. Inability to withdraw 8. Leaping to conclusions 9. Using previous conspiracies as evidence to support their claim 10. It's always a conspiracy. To me, you display every characteristic in that list.
Not once did I mention anything about the CIA. I used an example to explain something. I don't think every single conspiracy theory is absurd, and by you not being able to answer my original question, "what makes people believe absurd conspiracies?". Right there, you are displaying characteristic number 2 on that list, one I believe to be the most important skill out of the list that actually, if can answer questions, shows some intelligence to maybe just maybe get my attention. My question, "what makes people believe absurd conspiracy theories?", is referring to absurd theories. Not every single conspiracy theory is absurd but come on now. For example The conspiracy theory, "The landing on the moon was fake", is questionable. Why haven't we gone back yet? We were able to do it in 1969 supposedly, but why haven't we gone back? We have more advanced technology this day in age then ever before, I would think we would of made several trips by now. But some of the conspiracy are absurd and if you do not think so you are nuts.

You amuse yourself don't you? You know what? All I know what happen on 9/11 is that planes flew into the world trade and the pentagon, and a fourth crashed only miles from where I live. The only people that knew what happened are dead. I don't know if arabs, americans, or monkeys where responsible for that unfortunate tragedy. I made it clear that I find it disturbing, if it really was the act of our government. You lack basic comprehension skills, the question wants to know what make people believe ABSURD conspiracy theories? Why do you keep bringing this theory up? It happened and there is no concrete evidence to provide 100%, without a doubt, on who was really responsible. If the government did it that's so messed up and hope anyone that was involved in it, wake up everyday and up all night plagued with guilt, and I'm sure their day will come. If it was terrorist at least some justice was served. I'm pretty sure that the people on the fourth plane made phone calls to their loved ones and that's how they got the descriptions of the people that hi jacked the planes.
Also someone on here was said something like it took to long for the air force or they would of been in the air right then. Well not to long ago Russia had a couple of their bombers capable of equipping nuclear weapons flying right off the west coast, and made comments on how long it took for our air force to respond, I think it took them an hour or so. The fourth plane was supposedly shot down by the air force. I personally know people from summerset county PA, and they said they witnessed an explosion before the plane crashed, and heard the thunderous sound of jets flying over head.

over a 1000 architects and engineers and even some demolition experts.all said the only way those towers could have come straight down at the fast speed rate it did was if there were explosives planted in the towers.
