Which of the two quotes is more unifying and will at least say to the opposition, "let's look at it this way".

Obscene amounts of voter apathy that is measured nationally every other November but would run into the 8/10 if measured daily as to knowing what their city council, state legislature, or county commissioners are up to.

Seriously, I challenge the most fire-breathing fiscal conservative here to read any county commissioner meeting agenda and not be stunned by what is going on in terms of how much money is simply being spent without any sort of debate whatsoever.
