Many think that morals are stupid to focus on and that government should only focus on money issues.

But I would argue that the state of both are directly connected.

And they would be mostly correct. The problem with the Govt enforcing morals is whose morals do you go by? Should we outlaw divorce since it is immoral to some? Should we outlaw all extramarital sex since some see it as immoral?

Or do we focus our laws on things that harm children like this and let adults be adults as long as they are not harming anyone?
