What is it GOP leaders are doing that generates such strong support from their base?

So far, I've seemed to have missed that post.

Oops.

In other words, "Name some policies from the GOP leadership that has helped the Republican base".

The only thing I could think of was "cut taxes". But if you don't have a job, that's not a lot of help and Republicans ran on "Jobs, jobs, jobs".

So what has the leadership accomplished for the Republican base that the base can point to and say, "See"?

It's OK to go all the way back to 2000.

I can't believe someone actually doesn't know what the republicans are doing. So far, they are doing exactly what they were elected to do last November. You must be a dumb liberal to even ask such a dumb idiotic question.

Then they didn't run on "Jobs jobs jobs"?

Repeal the health care bill and stop spending, then jobs will come back. You're confused, and you're confused because you choose to be. To live in reality is too difficult for you because it means you will have to change the way you think.

If the unemployment rate dropped, that would bring in a lot of revenue which would go a long way toward bringing down the debt. You can "cut" all you want, but if you "cut" too much, you end up with "nothing". You have to "grow". Or that doesn't make sense?

Growing is what the Rpubs want, growing everything BUT the Government, well at least you sorta understand.

what would you rather grow,weeds {increasing the Federal spending} or roses,{private sector}??

Oops.

If you made a thread each time you missed something, you'd be banned for excessive spamming. (I'm confident the rest of us would be too).

I support the politicians who get out of my life as much as possible and are responsible with the tax money i'm forced to pay.

Ahhh, so that's it. Republicans want to "grow". And the plan is? Oh wait, there is no plan. They just "want".

The year before Romneycare, HC cost went up 39%. Wow, that's a lot. Medical bills have been the number one reason for bankruptcy since before Bush became president. Hmmm, guess it wasn't Romney care after all.

That's utter horseshit. I just love these fantastical numbers you conjure up from nothing.

Taking money from productive people and giving it to useless tics does not make the economy grow. When government grows, the private economy shrinks. It's as simple as that.

Everybody knows they ran on jobs, jobs, jobs. Don't make a fool of yourself.

No one posted a policy yet? Jeez...at least someone said they are working to get goby out of our lives. Even tho it doesn't make sense cause govt is for the people but I hope they are trying to get govt out of our lives a lot harder than they've been "trying" to end abortion.

I believe that they are trying really hard..no one could be so sinister as to pretend they are working hard to end abortion just for political gain. Right?

From 2003 to 2006, US health care spending increased by $363 billion to
reach $2.1 trillion, or nearly $6,800 per capita. To put this into context, during
this three-year period, health care costs increased by more than what the
United States spent on oil and gasoline in total during all of 2006 when energy
prices began to reach new highs. In 2006 alone, the United States spent twice
as much on health care as it did on food—and more than China’s citizens
consumed altogether.

Underscoring the growing affordability gap, the Towers Perrin survey database shows that total health care costs have increased by 33% since 2004, with the employee share increasing by 42% during the same period.

You know, I bet you have no health care insurance. Am I right? Come on, be honest.

I find that right wingers who defend our broken system generally have no insurance. And they say things like, "I can take care of myself".

So come on, you have no health care, right?

Then vote for your liberal friends and your President. You've already made a fool of yourself one time, might as well do it again! Any more pearls of wisdom? No? Thought so.

Then there are "lemmings". 90% of the Republican Party. Taking this country over a cliff. "The dumb shall lead".

Tell us about the President's budget.

Obama and the democrats are depending on the drones like we see around here to come through in 2012 and they will no matter what. The problem they will have is no indy support. You know, those who voted for Obama and who had jobs or still have jobs....barely. The riff raff like rdean and the other drones will still bow. Obama showed them how.

No. They ran on fiscal discipline. Which is why they are trying to cut spending.

Why are you mad??? No reason to be.
